Blast from your past? Are you a screen free parent? This toy is ideal to entertain your little one. While it was marketed as a toy for 12-18 months, it was a bit hard for my little one to toggle the knobs. I feel like it is more of a 2-4 year old toy, as it entertained both of mine and requires hand strength. It teaches color knowledge, animal sounds, and memory. It is in extraordinary pre-owned condition for a toy that is 30 years old! There is a slight lag in the yellow hand, and the bird's face is slightly distorted. The tab to open the battery compartment has broken off. We used a flat head screwdriver. The compartment does stay closed to keep batteries away from little hands. Does not include batteries. It takes 4 AA batteries.
